After a short and courageous battle with cancer, Debbie Paquette (nee Ballik) passed away peacefully on the 30th of May, 2025 in her 71st year at the Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital.
Debbie was a loving wife of Jack for over 51 years. Cherished daughter of Dorene and the late Sid. Devoted mother to John (Michelyn) and Carolynn (Wesley), grandmother to Mackenzie and Lawrence, and great-grandmother to Austin. Beloved sister of David (Kathy), Michael (Sharon), Susan and the late Sidney. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Debbie always had a smile for everyone. She loved to experience life and enjoyed road trips especially when it involved a casino stop. Her zest for life and feistiness will be always remembered and carried in the hearts of those who knew her.

Friends will be received at the Accettone Funeral Home 384 Finley Ave., Ajax (905 428-9090) on Friday June 6th, 2025 from 6-9pm, and Saturday June 7th from 12pm to 3pm. The Service will be held Saturday June 7th at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
