Lepine, Lennox Joseph

August 1931 - December 2025
Lennox Joseph Lepine August 15, 1931 - December 2, 2025 Lennox Joseph Lepine passed away peacefully, in his 95th year, surrounded by the love of his family on December 2, 2025, in Oshawa, Ontario. Lennox leaves behind his loving daughter Lorene de Snoo, son George Lepine (Joanne), and partner Gisele Thibodeau. Lennox was predeceased by Ruth, his dear wife of 37 years, son-in-law Casey de Snoo, grandson Daniel Lepine, and five siblings - Clarella, Emerita, Emerson, Germaine, and Jack. Lennox will be deeply missed by his adoring grandchildren Mitchell de Snoo (Meghan), Michael Lepine, Rachel Lepine (Chris), Katy de Snoo and Owen Lepine. He will be fondly remembered by his sibling, Joan Kozicki-Enquist (Earl), his many nieces and nephews, and the Thibodeau family. Lennox's long life began on August 15th, 1931 - the fifth child of George and Catherine Lepine in Chapeau, QC. He frequently visited the Ottawa Valley reconnecting with old friends and family. He loved hearing about their lives and adventures, always listening attentively with a smile on his face and a glint in his eyes. Lennox was extremely proud of becoming an Ironworker and a onetime member in good standing with the Ironworker Local 721 brotherhood. He was proud of his membership for over 72 years and was always eager to share fond memories of that journey with his friends and coworkers. His greatest pride was his family. He was an avid supporter of all his grandchildren’s endeavours and could often be found quietly cheering them on at local arenas year-round. Towards the end of his life, while Lennox was in the hospital surrounded by his loved ones, he said being with his family was like heaven to him. He will be remembered for his wit and charm. He will be deeply missed by all who entered his world. He was a gem of a man, a mentor to many, and the North Star of the family. His wisdom, devotion, and unconditional love will guide the family forward, together. As we grieve this tremendous loss, we take solace knowing that what makes us cry today, will make us smile in the years to come. We thank the staff at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa palliative care unit for taking such wonderful care of Lennox and for the kindness they showed our family during this difficult time.
A private burial will be held for immediate family. A celebration of life for everyone who knew and loved Lennox will be held on Sunday January 4 th from 12-3pm at the Quaker Meeting House (457 Kingston Rd W, Ajax, ON L1S 6M1).
